Five hundred posts
You are now reading the 500th post on Private Deviations. Its publication almost coincided with the fourth birthday of the blog - the first post was published on March 17, 2019. So we have reason to celebrate.
And this celebration would not be without you and your visits. I know that website views counters should not be taken too literally, but they shows that you are still here, interested in what I post. And I thank you for that.
OBJECTIVELY
Post number 500 is a great opportunity for a small summary of what has been so far. Let's start with the raw statistics. Based on the view counter, the blog has been viewed 234942 times since the beginning (all stats as of mid-March 2023). The best in this respect was January 2023, when PD recorded 10154 views.
I don't know if that's a lot or a little. Probably not much for a website. However, if we take into account the rather niche and controversial topic of this blog, the frequency of publication and a few other factors - it seems to me that it is quite a lot.
You are probably interested in which topics on the blog are considered the best. Again, I'm going back to the numbers. The top three posts by number of views are:
1. Silver metallic orgasms: 4515
2. Wild Wilde Monica: 3754
3. Body and cement - show unlike any other: 3208
"Silver metallic orgasms" |
4. Dreamgirl: Silver spy: 2622
5. One hour of suffering: 1751
6. From grease to gold: 1661

Now that we know the best posts, let's see the ones that fare the worst. Logic dictates that these should be the ones from the very beginning of Private Deviations, when the blog was still unknown. It's not quite like that. It happens, that one post has a decent number of views, while the next one is viewed surprisingly rarely. So the weakest posts are:
1. Good and bad: 22
2. Collection of dressed girls...: 27
3. How dare you!: 28
Standard dose of erotica: 28
Holiday girls: 28
A collection of nudes...: 28
Clothes are optional: 28

"Clothes are optional" |
Of course, since there are the best posts, there must also be the weakest ones. But somehow such a low number of views may be surprising - after all, subjectively speaking, their content speaks for itself. I hope.
Overall, roughly basing on the statistics, I can say that you like watching bodypainting the most: especially in the metallic and glitter variety, on completely naked models. And especially if the painted girls engage in some sexual activity. Further, you highly value enclosing models in a shell of plaster or cement. Less interesting for you is pure erotica, particularly in the soft version, when the girls present some clothes. In this version, even lesbians make a moderate impression on you ;)
SUBJECTIVELY
It's all raw data. Now a bit of a subjective assessment, from the point of view of the editor of this whole circus. What do I like the most and least? Here are some remarks, although I think that you should take them with a grain of salt, because they are based only on my emotional approach to the subject.
And so, the blog posts that I am most satisfied with (satisfaction = a combination of pleasure with writing, final result, overall impression):
1. A saga dedicated to Marek Sulek's art. Virtually all posts dedicated to his works, especially the living statues and Mixing performance. I think, I first saw his live sculptures and painted models when I was 10 or 12 years old. It is possible, that something clicked in my head then, determining my current interests. Therefore, the preparation of materials about his works and popularizing them in the circles of erotica lovers, gave me particular satisfaction. What's more, it reflected into the number of visits, as you could see above.
2. Post Wild Wilde Monica, describing the poignant action of body painting. Maybe there are many similar things, particularly in Asian productions, but this one was special for me, since everything indicates that I had exclusive access to a complete set of photos. BTW: It is worth mentioning that Monica also appeared in another post.
3. Cooperation with Pure Paint from Berlin (Regards!). It's a fantastic thing when someone takes an interest in your writing and wants to add something. So it was quite a big post, which we both enjoyed.
4. The never ending story of lightspeedimages. Sometimes I feel like I'm boring this topic, but I'd really like to put together what's left of this website. And here the contribution of one of the readers turned out to be invaluable in creation The ultimate muse.

5. Long-winded but hopefully interesting thoughts on objectification in Treat her like an item posts. The text seems to me very direct and even a bit dark, but I just felt like I had to write something like this. I hope everyone enjoyed it. Especially women.

6. LXXT themes described in Which one disturbes you the most? A selection of the most interesting photos in one place. And that experiment with cement…

OTHER THAN ALL ENTRIES
In addition to posts that are eagerly viewed, I have another category in mind. Posts that may not have made a special career, but I like them because of what they contain, e.g. some specific photos, takes. Such a very subjective list, to which I could still add something:
1. Fighting the plague from October 2020 - interesting photos, very inventive, a bit fetishistic and kind of timely then. Still, only 82 views. Well, why don't you give it a chance?
The plague... |
2. It's the same with the post Meet Olya... Such a pretty girl and only 88 views…

3. Quite recent posts about Enersol and Rosomanov calendars. A classic. I have a strange feeling that less and less such bold releases are made today. Or maybe I'm just not looking hard enough...

4. Models at work and generally behind the scenes topics. Why? Because watching models undergo transformation is especially fascinating.
- The one below from Behind the scenes: painting, is special for me somehow. Maybe because it's practically unknown. And because it leaves you unsatisfied. This is a poor quality screen from a paper magazine published in the late 90s. The model was painted for the needs of the music video. Well, there is even that video, but of such poor quality that it's better to save your eyes... Anyway, see for yourself. This is an example of the photos you see and ask for more. A model characterized in this way deserves a decent photo session, not just a quick appearance in a pixelated video. Unfortunately, I do not believe that after so many years something new will suddenly appear on this topic.

- Dewayne Flowers and Transformation: behind the scenes. You can't ask for anything more from these photos. Well, maybe only video in ultra HD.
5. The golden girl in the pictures of Bert Kubik from Pictures that disappeared. A similar story. Beautiful model, perfect bodypainting and only two photos in small size. Such a missed opportunity…
6. Posts about the girl in clay. And this behind-the-scenes look at all the action… I like the idea of the whole action: “You're going to get naked and roll in mud. It will be insane!”

7. And another thing that I somehow just like. For a combination of unobtrusive eroticism, successful bodypainting, ingenuity and an attractive model: Talk about the future!

COMPLAININGS
There must be some complaining too. Are there things I don't like? There isn't a post I don't like, although of course some posts are just fillers. Sometimes they impress readers, sometimes they don't, but they fulfill their function - they give signs of life.
Of course, there were periods when even that wasn't there. There were times when I didn't post anything for weeks or even months. Life is life. Private Deviations is just a little hobby at the end of the to-do list. So sometimes it drops off that list and waits its turn. I really can't promise that someday there won't be such a pause in posts again. Then, I'll just ask you to be patient. For the same reasons, I cannot promise you that you will see another five hundred posts here. A blog is just a little hobby for me and let it be for you too.
What am I missing? Generally? I regret that at one time Yahoo stopped running Groups. Enthusiasts of the topics discussed here, gathered there. My FBF Group was just a snippet. Other, older and more popular were for example: Living Statues, Golden Women, Statue Fetish Gallery, etc. The great and sometimes a bit dark Encasement Fantasies was closed at some stage by its administrator for personal reasons. Over the years, these communities have brought everyone interested in topics together and allowed them to share pictures and links.
The thing that worries me a bit, is the problem with finding new things that would impress a person. There are two options: either the creators are running out of ideas, or I've become picky and it's getting harder and harder to find something that would make the senses red. I do not know.
Another topic-river is the development of artificial intelligence in graphics... Maybe it has its advantages. You can already see a lot of really successful graphics that are the result of the ingenuity of authors and their computer. But on the other hand, we prefer to watch what is real, not generated. I will not complain about technical progress. I just want to say that we don't have to blindly follow it like some passing fad. And I'm just afraid that at some stage, the AI images may compete with the real thing.
ARE YOU STILL READING THIS?
That's probably all I wanted to share with you. What's next? Will we see the 1000th post? If I knew the answers to such questions, I would bet on lottery numbers. Of course I hope so.
Thanks again for these 500 posts and four years. Take care! And leave a comment sometimes. I don't reply to everyone, but I always read them all.
huzzah and congrats!
ReplyDeleteYeah! Thanks! ;)

Hey! Congratulations to the 500th of your great blogs! And thank you so much for the feature. I am just uploading a new video I finished editing yesterday, "Grease Day" with Italian model Nera stiletto (@nera_stiletto) on instagram. This could be a blog about the fun to cooperate when both are equally excited about fulfilling the shared plan ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you for comment and cooperation. I guess, I envy your inspirations. Keep up your work. Oh, and sorry for the late reply. Best wishes! ;)
