The magic of mirror images

Private Deviations begins another year surrounded by naked (how else?) bodies, dazzling brocade and the magic of mirror reflections. It is because of the really great work of a certain Ukrainian photographer.

Actually, the atmosphere of what we are going to see is like an erotic dream: naked girls lie tightly next to each other, all covered with glitter from head to toe. Each of them sparkles with a different color and the mirrors set around them reproduce their reflections endlessly, allowing you to see the naked bodies from all sides. Interesting vision, isn't it?

You don't have to fall asleep in a wet dream to see it. It is thanks to a photo project by the Ukrainian artist Aleksandr Lishchinskiy. In 2019 he created a composition entitled Spectrum. The unusual and very erotic project shows female nudity dressed in brocade bodypainting. The main accent of the project is the multi-colored composition of painted models, arranged side by side and surrounded by a mirror. The reflections of the girls, multiplied and distorted, give the whole a strange atmosphere - the real view (already unusual itself) smoothly turns into unreal reflections. This is the main accent of Spectrum, but not the only one, because the artist also focused on the individual qualities of each of the models. The girls presented themselves posing solo or in smaller groups. Often in very ambiguous poses. All this, of course, surrounded by false mirrors.

What more could you want? Naked, painted girls, bold poses, slightly lesbian situations. For this fancy use of mirrors, all kept in a dark, quite mysterious atmosphere...
