A picture from the "Human Laboratory"
Picture I found some time ago, thanks to UMD website and user Utsumi. It's from gallery of Esmay Wagemans - Dutch sculptor, who describes herself as "science fiction artist". She gained attention creating original sculptures of human bodies, presenting them in hmm... somehow unreal, dehumanized way. Her work was by chance mentioned on Private Deviations, when she cast body of model Romy Yedidia in over three hour long process.
Here is some random picture apparently from something she calls her "human laboratory". There's no description of this picture, but it looks like a model prepared for plaster casting, covered in some kind of silicone anti-adhesive agent. One of the things I love to look at...
More about works of Esmay Wagemans you can find in her interview for Metal Magazine.
