The final end?
This could be something like a farewell post. Maybe not. I do not know.
First thing - I'm alive and well. And thank you for your interest.
Second thing - Private Deviations is dead. Do not kid yourself. The last post is from April this year. I haven't posted anything since then, and in fact, I didn't log into my account until late November. This was certainly disappointing for many of you, and a word of explanation is in order: Why?
To be honest, the blog tired me. It may not be visible from your perspective, but finding new material and making sure it appears regularly can sometimes be troublesome. And it should be added that I run the blog completely alone and only with your support. As I once wrote, a blog is just a little hobby at the bottom of my to-do list. And I think that's how it should be. Erotica is a beautiful topic, but it is addictive and can lead to obsession over time... Too late! Anyway, I was doing a lot of other interesting things, until something finally made me come here. Taking a vacation from the blog is a beautiful thing, but abandoning it (and you too) is not necessarily the case. That's why I decided to show signs of life.
Most importantly - what's next for Private Deviations?
I don't know. Quite honestly, I've thought about it a lot and I still don't know. I don't feel like continuing, but I don't want to abandon it either - over four years and over 500 posts is too long to just pull the plug.
I decided that things weren't going to go one way or the other. At least for now. The blog will be online, maybe I will even post something new from time to time, but I don't plan to return to such regular publications as I did before. At least for now. I also do not promise that I will reply to any messages.
At the same time, I want to offer you something new as a thank you for being with me. How about the blog's archive? No posts, no text, only photos and videos. What you saw on the blog and a little more. Regardless of what happens to the blog, you have access to your materials, collected in one place by category. I think this is a nice solution.
From technical aspects:
- The catalog contains the vast majority (if not all) of thematic materials that were published on Private Deviations. Due to lack of space, the archive does not include posts tagged as "random" in Bodypainting and WAM sections.
- In addition to what is on the blog, there are also other videos and photos. Some were used as a source for creating new posts, others were simply my private collections.
- The archive also contains nine fetish-related Yahoo Groups: Encased, Erotic Encasement III, Golden Women, Living Statues, Makeup metamorphose, Petrification Parlour, Statue Fetish Gallery, The Sculpotor's Statuary and of course Female Body Fetish. I didn't modify them: all are in zip format, just like they were downloaded from Yahoo years ago.
- Among the files you will also find a complete (I think) archive of FBF on Tumblr. It comes from the times when erotic materials could still be published there.
- Some folders contain text files. These are usually notes used when creating a post, or a database of useful links on a given topic.
- Use it as much as you can. Nobody said this archive would last forever...
- Of course, copyright belongs to the creators of the materials, so have fun, but don't tell where you got it. As far as I'm concerned, use it as you see fit.
Well, that's it for now. Thank you for all your signs of support and sympathy. Have fun and maybe see you at Private Deviations!
PS. The female statues in this post aren't real, unfortunately. Fun with graphics and stuff... You could have seen the metallic body in Wearing the Second Skin..., while the silver girls are from The advantages of an old calendar... The golden girl has somehow not been featured on the blog yet. This is Queeny Love, painted by Goldfinger2000.
Funny enough just yesterday I had checked here for updates, as I do about weekly on my favourite sites. And was sad to see no change.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you are well. And while it is not good news to hear about your feelings towards the blog I totally understand. I still hope you will continue it some day but for now I say thank you so much for the work you did! and for the archive!
Stay safe everyone and have fun.
