Some seventeen years ago, a strange video surfaced online. And although it was of very poor quality, it fired the viewer's imagination. It depicted half-naked women covered with paint, who frivolously rolled on a huge stretch of fabric, imprinting colorful reflections of their bodies on it. The film was signed by the clothing company Wolf Rayet. Today it is probably impossible to find reliable information about this clip. I can only recall what I once read. This original action of painting the canvas with female bodies was made for a limited edition of clothing. After the models created the painting, the material was further processed and then clothes were sewn from it. The lucky buyer could then find a DVD with that clip in his pocket.
One can only guess when this film was actually shot. You can find an upload dated 2006 on YT. It can probably be assumed that it was created around that time. Let's hope at least the clothes were of better quality than this video. Although probably everything looked better on the original DVD, and what we see here, is simply the result of a failed conversion.
To respect the eyesight, I am posting a shortened version of the video. It differs from the original by the lack of a soundtrack and the truncation of the long Wolf Rayet logo.
Speaking of clothes... The Wolf Rayet brand exists in the UK, but according to what you can read on their website, it was only established... in 2013. So maybe it's a coincidence. After all, the name comes from a star. Or maybe the newer Wolf Rayet doesn't necessarily want to have anything to do with the old one.
If you happen to know anything more about this unusual production, let me know in the comments.
