Remember Greek myth of Medusa - woman with snakes in the place of hair, who could turn into stone anyone who just looked into her eyes? If not, you'll surely remember it after looking at these pictures. Honestly, when I saw them for the first time, I thought they are digital painting, not photos. They simply look too good to be real...

Medusa myth based photosession was done by a team consisting of, among others, Niki Lazaridou - fashion and commercial photographer, make up artist Anastasia Vladi, hair stylist Christine Cassola, model Anna Aleksandra Jonynas and... snakes. Yes. The real snakes...

Preparation of the model must have been really time-consuming, but people did a great job: Anna Aleksandra wears contact lenses, making her eyes resemble those of the reptile and her hair was done to look like a nest full of snakes. Then, while wearing nothing but the cropped panties, she was painted. Finished make-up has made her to look like a real reptile. Or mythical Medusa. The rest was just to pose patiently with snakes slithering along the curves of her half-naked body...
